Data You Give Us Directly
Search Queries
Search terms entered in a third-party search box go to the provider that operates that service, which processes the input and returns its results. Trousdale County Warrant Records does not store or log those search terms on its own end.
Messages and Contact Submissions
If you email a question, the message is kept so a reply can be sent. It is not shared outside the organization unless a legal duty requires disclosure.
Data We Gather Automatically
A page request may create routine technical logs. These can include:
- the requested page and time of access;
- the referring site, if one was sent;
- browser type and version;
- device type and operating system;
- the network address assigned to the device; and
- the time spent on pages, where available.
Cookies and Analytics
This service uses cookies, small files saved by a browser, and analytics tools that group traffic patterns such as popular pages and exit points. Browser settings can block cookies. Some site functions may behave differently when they are disabled.
What We Do With This Data
- measure site traffic and page performance;
- keep pages available and address technical faults;
- send a search-box request to the provider that runs it;
- understand which reference pages need attention; and
- display advertising, which may use provider interest signals.
No Warrant Data on File
Trousdale County Warrant Records does not host, compile, or sell a warrant database or personal warrant files. It provides general routing to the Sheriff, the Circuit Court Clerk, General Sessions, and Hartsville Municipal Court. Tennessee has no public statewide name-search warrant system located in the research. Visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party warrant records, and the service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the sponsored search boxes. Information entered there is handled under the provider’s own privacy terms, including its retention and sharing rules. Those practices are outside this policy’s control. Review the provider notice before submitting information.
Links to Other Websites
Links on the site lead to county and state offices, court rules, public-record guidance, and third-party services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination’s privacy terms govern that visit. Read them before sending personal details.
Some advertising providers may use their own systems to track activity across sites for interest-based ads. Their tracking practices are set by those providers.
Who Might See Your Data
Personal data is not sold by this reference service. Information may be handled by:
- advertising networks placing ads;
- search providers receiving the input entered into their box;
- analytics services that measure traffic; and
- a government or law-enforcement body if valid legal process requires disclosure.
How We Protect Your Data
Reasonable security measures are used to protect information associated with the service. Internet systems cannot be guaranteed free from intrusion, and no promise can be made that a security incident will never occur.
Users Under 18
The reference service is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor may have sent information, contact the service so the material can be reviewed and removed.
Your Data Rights
The Tennessee Public Records Act, Tenn. Code Ann. §§ 10-7-501 et seq., applies to qualifying government records held by public offices; it does not govern visitor data held by this private service. Depending on where you live, privacy or consumer-protection law may provide additional rights over personal information. You may:
- ask for a copy of information held about you;
- request a correction to inaccurate information;
- ask for deletion of information; or
- opt out of certain data uses where that right applies.
